2011 Gala

8th Annual Wildwood Christian Academy Gala a Smashing Success

The Parent Action Council of Wildwood Christian Academy would like to thank the patrons, sponsors and parents who attended the Gala & Auction on March 26th. It was cold and wet outside but the bidding was hot indoors at The Clubhouse at Lake Sconti. There were over 200 quality auction items available, resulting in many bidding wars. The Gala is the premier fundraiser of the year for Wildwood with proceeds enhancing the academic, spiritual and social experiences for the students. The centerpiece of this year’s Live Auction was a week long African Safari. Other trips to Colorado, Florida and Lake Burton were also auctioned off by auctioneer Rhonda Duffy. Wildwood Students’ Spiritual Art was another popular item, as well as student photography, hand-made jewelry and folk art. Wildwood would like to say a special “thank you” to our generous sponsors.
