eADAP
Attention Public School and Home-Schooled Students:
Wildwood Christian Academy Offering eADAP and ACT EXPLORE on April 30
In order to obtain their driver’s license, Georgia teens under the age of 18 are required to successfully complete the Electronic Alcohol Drug Awareness Program (eADAP). In most cases, teens are able to complete ADAP through their high school; however, for those teens that are home-schooled, have moved to Georgia from another state, or were absent from school when the course was offered, an alternative program is available. The Electronic Alcohol Drug Awareness Program (eADAP) will be offered at Wildwood Christian Academy on April 30th from 8:30 – 12:00; the cost is $25. Getting registered for the eADAP program is simple. Teens can register for the eADAP course through Wildwood’s eADAP administrator, Laura Hensley. Teens that wish to take the eADAP course must have access to email. eADAP is an internet-based course, and teens will use a computer that is connected to the internet to complete the course. Wildwood is also offering the ACT EXPLORE® test. This standardized test is designed to help 8th and 9th grade students plan for high school courses, prepare for the ACT, and focus on a career direction. The testing session will include four multiple-choice tests including English, Math, Reading and Science and has from 28-40 questions per test. The ACT EXPLORE® test results reveal a student’s strengths and weaknesses compared to those of other students across the nation. The ACT EXPLORE® Student Score Report presents information about knowledge, skills, interests, possible educational and career paths, as well as high school coursework plans. This test will also be held on April 30th from 9:00 – 12:00. The cost for this class is $35. Both classes will be held at Wildwood Christian Academy in Marble Hill.
