Charles Cates
Welcome to Mr. Cates' Class!
Charles Cates is our Seventh Grade Life Science teacher and also serves as Wildwood’s counselor. Charles’ employment history includes serving as a college counselor and instructor at Georgia State University and DeKalb College, a counseling psychologist with the Veterans Administration, Executive Vice President of Drake, Beam, Morin, Founder and Executive Vice President of EnterChange, and Executive Vice President of Spherion. More recently he was a private school consultant with the Professional Association of Georgia Educators and the Headmaster of Hidden Lake Academy in Dahlonega. Dr. Cates has a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Emory University, in addition to a Master’s of Education degree in Counseling and Doctor of Philosophy degree in Leadership Development from Georgia State University.
